1.What are tasks?

Tasks are actions that you can execute automatically during various stages. For example, a task could be used to delete a specific folder before the game is launched

 

2.When can these tasks be executed?

Gizmo can execute tasks during:

  1. Client startup/shutdown
  2. User login/logout
  3. At various stages of an application's launch

 

3.What type of tasks does Gizmo support?

Gizmo supports the following types of tasks:

  1. Notification messages - used to display a notification message to user
  2. Proccess - used to launch an appplication
  3. Script - used to launch registry/batch/visual basic/autoit scripts
  4. Junction - used to create junctions between folder

 

4.How do i delete a folder with a task?

Create a task - script - batch

Use the following code:

rd "C:\Users\client\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default" /s /q

 

5.How do i delete a file with a task?

Create a task - script - batch

Use the following code:

del /q /f "d:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\appmanifest_550.acf"

 


6.How do i close a program with a task?

taskkill /im "programname.exe" /f
